The Tuscany is a region of Italy located at the west of the country.
It is surrounded by the Latium southward, Umbria eastward, Romagna and Liguria northward, and by the Tyrrhenian Sea on the west.
In addition to Florence, its capital ; Siena and Pisa are also in Tuscany.
The island of Elba is also attached to this area. The principal river is the Arno, whereas the Tiber takes its source there.
The agricultural productions most famous are the wines like Chianti and Asti (the spumante), thus that olive oil.
It is the historical etruscan territory, the civilization dominating Italy before the Roman expansion, and later became t he center of the Rnnaissance in Europe in the XIVth century, when finished the middle-age.
